What is Traditional Full Body Massage?
This is a Malay form of bodywork from head to toe to relieve stiff muscles, improve circulation, calm nervous systems and alleviate stresses. Well for those who have not try it before, Traditional Full Body Massage is not identical to but a bit similar to the combination of Deep Tissue Massage, Shiatsu, Reflexology and perhaps others. The best way to differentiate it is certainly you have to try it, off course. It’s just like 3 becomes 1, and is in fact a proven massage therapy that has been practiced over the years.
How does Traditional Full Body Massage work?
A therapeutic body treatment originating from rural areas of the Malay community, this style massage was taught between family members and passed from one generation to the next for healing and restorative purposes. Firm, concentrated movements help to remove deep blockages caused by stress, relieve muscular tension and stimulate blood circulation by removing ‘wind’ trapped in the body. When there is chronic muscle tension or injury, there are usually adhesions (bands of painful, rigid tissue) in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Adhesions can block circulation and cause pain, limited movement, and inflammation. We massage and heal all blockages that caused various pains and illnesses. When there are no more blockages, then your body systems will perform 100% efficient and therefore you are in a good health.

What is your method?
You will need to remove your clothes and wear a "sarung” prior to the Traditional Full Body Massage. Then aromatic massage oil will be applied to various parts of your body to begin the massage. We use fingers, knuckles and palm pressure to energize pathways and meridians of your body (from head to toe), in a continuous rhythmic sequence to improve flow as described above. If you feel any discomfort or pain during the treatment, tell your therapist and he will adjust the pressure so that it is comfortable to you.
